CT Scan Unit
Advanced CT Scanner – Comfort You Won’t Easily Find Elsewhere
At our center, we use a state-of-the-art CT scanner featuring an 82 cm wide bore and a table weight capacity of up to 307 kg — making it one of the few devices in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East that offers this level of both comfort and precision.
- How Does CT Scanning Work?
CT scanning combines X-ray technology with advanced computer processing to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body. These images can be viewed digitally, printed, or saved on electronic media for accurate review.
_ Advantages That Outperform Conventional Devices
1. Unmatched Patient Comfort
- Conventional CT scanners often have narrow bores (70 cm or less), which may cause discomfort or anxiety, especially for claustrophobic or obese patients.
- Our device features an 82 cm bore to provide greater physical and psychological comfort during scans.
2. Full Support for High-Weight Patients
- Most CT scanners can only support patients weighing 180–220 kg.
- At our center, we can accommodate patients up to 307 kg without the need for special arrangements or referrals.
3. Superior Speed & Accuracy
- Our scanner provides high-resolution imaging at faster speeds, enabling rapid and effective diagnostics, while minimizing retakes due to motion artifacts or poor image quality.
4. Always Ready
- Our device is built for high workloads and frequent scans — you won’t have to wait long or be referred to another center.
At RadCare, we are committed to offering cutting-edge medical imaging technologies to ensure the highest standards in diagnostic accuracy, improving overall patient care quality.
